Far Westerns

FAR WESTERNS OVERVIEW

Far Westerns is a 3 day Junior National Qualifier. There are 4 different divisions (Open, USA/National, Liberty, and American). Your team will only play teams in your division and age group.  The champions/top finishes for each division earn a bid to Junior National Championships. Teams can come from all over the United States.

Please visit the tournament website to see more information - Far Westerns Website

NCVA uploads the exact tournament play schedule into TM2 anytime from the week before to the few days before.

The NCVA will also host a college recruiting combine the evening before play starts for athletes interested that are 8th grade or older. Please scroll down to your team's weekend to register.

Wristband Pickup

Spectators can pick up wristbands early to avoid delays the day of play. Visit the tournament desk at the convention center between 4pm and 8pm the day before to claim spectator wristbands.

Support The Sport

Help us Support the Sport! From the NCVA...

Volleyball tournaments such as these require a lot of space – and that means Convention Centers. But there is great deal of competition for those spaces and it can be impossible to get the space needed for our events on popular weekends unless we demonstrate to host cities the clear benefits our events bring to their local economies.

For your benefit and ours, we’ve partnered with Tournament Housing Services (THS). THS helps teams by getting them access to better room rates, making it more convenient for teams to manage their hotel reservations, coordinate room blocks (e.g. keeping room assignments close together), manage occupant lists, etc. THS benefits the NCVA by helping us demonstrate our positive impact on local economies and guarantee the success of future events.

Each team is required to book, at a minimum, 12 nights through the Tournament Housing Service website (THS).
